What was the process- how did you get around it?

I got in touch with a private bank I’ve worked with before and they were happy to use his investment portfolio as additional income, using the HNW exemption for affordability. 

 

What was the end result?

In the end, I was able to secure the desired 75% LTV on an interest only basis for my client, who was delighted with the outcome and could proceed with the purchase of his new home in the UK.
