Enness has a network of more than 500 international lenders who can lend against various asset classes. We do not offer package deals, and we hand-build every finance package from scratch based on your client's requirements and background. Our lender network includes international and domestic private banks, specialist and niche lenders, retail banks and mainstream financial institutions. Enness has been brokering high-value finance since 2008. We have a track record of working on complex deals, substantial loans and for borrowers with sensitive backgrounds or complex financial circumstances. We can also negotiate finance if your client wants to use international structures.
We move quickly: we know that sometimes your client will be faced with a scenario where they need to raise capital fast, particularly if they need to solve a problem or pursue an opportunity. You'll initially discuss your clients' requirements with Enness on a no-name, no paperwork basis. Enness' broker will then present different financing options that could work for your client, including in principle scenarios.
Building a Solution
Working alongside you, Enness will formulate a plan for your client so you can give them a concrete set of potential options. You'll get an indication of the rates and terms possible and what will be needed from your client to benefit from these. Enness will provide details on what the process will be.
Enness will issue indicative heads of terms for your client as soon as possible. You can use these as you see fit, and these are upgraded to credit backed agreements once Enness knows enough about your client to be able to do so with confidence.
If the plan works and your client wants to proceed, Enness will agree on an approach with you. The plan will consider all parties' needs in terms of fees, application management and communication. If desired, Enness will effectively form part of your team to deliver the solution, so you are providing a seamless service to your client. You will be kept in the loop every step of the way, and your broker will ensure you know what is happening and when you can expect delivery of any part of the plan.

Which lenders does Enness work with?
Enness is an independent broker with access to more than 500 global lenders, including international and Hong Kong-based private banks, family offices, and alternative lenders specialising in a specific security or lending products. Many of these lenders require introductions or prefer to be approached by brokers like Enness, who vet and recommend borrowers to them, rather than being approached directly. In cases where your client wants to borrow a significant amount, needs cross-border finance, or they have a complex financial background, Enness' ability to present the facts of the case to lenders succinctly and in the best possible light will also open doors. We know that the quality of the lender your client works with or that you introduce them to via Enness is hugely important. Enness only has relationships with highly reputed and trusted lenders with authority and a track record in their area of expertise.
How much can my client borrow?
We can broker substantial loans – our largest deal to date is a $150 million loan against a single line of stock. As a high-value finance broker, we typically work with borrowers looking to finance upwards of £1 million (or the equivalent in another currency). When it comes to how much your client can borrow, this will depend on their net worth, liquidity, assets, revenue or income and what they want to do with the loan. Whatever your client's reasons for raising liquidity, Enness will help you maximise what your client can borrow and ensure they have access to a tailored deal that offers the best rates and terms available in the market.
My client was turned down for finance. What can Enness do?
We will still be able to help. We regularly work with individuals who have been turned down for finance and, in some cases, can easily broker finance. You should also note that just because your client was turned down for finance, it doesn't mean it will necessarily take us significant time to find offers. We know which lenders lend in which context and have access to almost all the players in the market, which facilitates our ability to help broker a deal.
If your client has been turned down for finance, it can be challenging to know what to do next, especially if you have exhausted your network of lenders. When your clients are turned down for finance, it does not necessarily mean they will be unable get a loan. Instead, it is more likely that we need to present their case differently to lenders and approach the players that are better suited to finance your client. We will explain our strategy to you in full, but it is likely to be a question of working with smaller players, those that operate in niche sectors, work with specific types of security. Alternatively, we will use our network to approach the lenders that do not publicise their services and that work exclusively through introductions. We regularly broker high-value finance for clients who have not managed to get a loan by approaching lenders directly or who have been turned down by large banks – if this has happened with your client – get in touch, and we will be ready to help.
My client doesn't live in Hong Kong, can you still broker finance?
Yes. In Hong Kong, in particular, many of your clients may have links to the jurisdiction, or you will advise them from Hong Kong, but they will not necessarily reside there – or they only reside in Hong Kong part-time. Regardless of their nationality or residence, Enness will be able to broker finance.

We work with many Hong Kong-based advisers looking to source in-bound investment finance into the UK, but practically, we can broker loans that will be used anywhere – whether in the US, Europe, Asia or further afield. We can also broker finance for your client if they are only resident in Hong Kong part-time, are globally mobile, or want to use international assets (particularly securities) as collateral for a loan.
