The property in question was a modern penthouse in an iconic London tower worth £7 million, which the client had previously rented. The client was willing to put down £1.4 million as a deposit and was looking for an interest-only mortgage that allows you to make monthly payments that just cover the interest on the money borrowed. This means the full mortgage amount is repaid in one lump sum at the end of the mortgage term or when the property is sold. 

Despite being one of Europe's most prominent investors with a significant net worth, the client would be considered as a high risk due to their connection to cryptocurrencies.
