The exclusive survey brings together 15 prime residential property professionals to explore how the tax burden could be structured differently, including whether to place greater emphasis on property ownership rather than transactions.
The findings indicate that most respondents favour shifting some of the tax burden away from property transactions and towards ownership, although views are more divided on whether to abolish Stamp Duty Land Tax (SDLT) altogether.
