A group of mortgage industry professionals took on the Three Peaks Challenge in July 2022 to raise money for Blood Cancer UK.
The challenge involved climbing Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon, the highest peaks in Scotland, England and Wales, within a 24-hour period. In total, the challenge required participants to cover around 23 miles of mountain terrain.
The fundraising effort was organised by James McGregor, Director of Mesa Financial, in support of Blood Cancer UK. The challenge was inspired by his friend Sinead, who had been diagnosed with leukaemia earlier that year at the age of 30.
A number of mortgage industry professionals joined the fundraising challenge, including Colin Payne of Chapelgate Private Finance, Zara Yeganeh of Enness Global and Tom Biffen of Seymours Estate Agents.
The team set an initial fundraising target of £5,000, with thousands of pounds already raised ahead of the challenge on 1 July.
The Three Peaks Challenge brought together professionals from across the mortgage and property sectors to support an important cause while taking on one of the UK's best-known endurance challenges.
