Enness Global Announces its Winter Charitable Cause

29th October 2024

The North Paddington Foodbank (NFPB) is the largest emergency food aid charity in Westminster. Established in 2014, it provided local residents with direct access to emergency food as part of its commitment to overcoming food poverty. However, since 2021 NPFB has adopted a ‘cash first’ approach, offering emergency income through supermarket food vouchers, alongside advice to also help address the root causes of food insecurity. As part of their broader mission to give people more control and dignity by allowing them to choose and buy their own food.

Enness Global will be supporting this vital local charity by raising funds throughout the winter season, while also championing the innovative work NPFB is delivering for the local community.

Commenting on the launch, Islay Robinson, CEO of Enness Global, noted that while Westminster, home to both Enness’s HQ and the North Paddington Foodbank, is among the wealthiest areas in London, many residents still rely on support to manage the rising cost of living. He highlighted Enness’s commitment to empowering individuals financially and personally, expressing delight at being able to support NPFB’s cost-of-living appeal and assist households facing the challenges of the ongoing crisis.

Thomas Delap, Head of Charity at North Paddington Foodbank, added that emergency food aid often arises from temporary low or insecure income, worsened by sudden financial shocks. He welcomed Enness Global’s support, noting the shared values and commitment to helping individuals overcome food insecurity, and said their contribution would extend the impact of community initiatives this winter.
