In this case, we were approached by a Jersey resident who was looking to leverage their single stock holding listed on AIM. The capital raised was to be utilised for the deposit on a residential property in Jersey.

Whilst the majority of private banks will take security of, and lend against, diversified investment portfolios and blue-chip stock, when it comes to single lines of lesser-known stock a specialist lender must be engaged.
