An existing Enness client approached the firm after their current mortgage product was due to expire. With a demanding career that involved frequent international travel, the client had not had the time to research suitable refinancing options and wanted a straightforward solution before the existing product reverted to its lender’s standard variable rate.
Having previously arranged finance for the client, Enness was already familiar with their circumstances. The main requirement was to identify a suitable replacement product efficiently, without creating unnecessary administration or disruption to the client’s schedule.
OUR SOLUTION
Enness reviewed the available options and identified a suitable fixed-rate mortgage based on the client’s requirements. Existing knowledge of the client’s circumstances helped streamline the application, while the lender was able to proceed with limited additional documentation.
The client was also eligible for a preferential rate through the existing relationship with the lender. This provided a straightforward route to refinancing without the client having to spend significant time researching and comparing products independently.
A new two-year fixed-rate mortgage was arranged, allowing the client to secure a new financing structure before the previous product expired. The process was completed efficiently, giving the client certainty around their mortgage while allowing them to continue with their international travel and professional commitments.
This case demonstrates how a specialist mortgage broker can add value not only in complex lending situations, but also by managing the product research and application process for clients with demanding schedules.
