Hugh founded Enness in August 2007 with Islay Robinson and has grown it to be one of the world’s leading advisers for high value international debt. He is a widely regarded industry leader and was the winner of Best Broker for Large Loans for 3 consecutive years at the British Mortgage Awards.

The Financial Times described Hugh as the ‘go to mortgage broker for the super-rich’ and The Spears 500, which is recognised as the definitive guide to the top private client advisers globally, as an ‘expert broker’ and Enness as ‘the most competitive and sought after mortgage brokerage’.

He also is the founder of Tenn Capital which is backed by the US Hedge Fund Elliott Management that offers bridging loans for high value and complex real estate situations globally.

Outside of work he can often be found running and cycling in the hills around Monaco and is an avid Tottenham Hotspur fan.
